Hello Dear Readers,
First and foremost, thank you for stopping by my blog. You clicked on this section because you are curious to know who is behind “The Sasu Post”. Who am I?
I am young professional, from Montreal, Canada in my early 30’s. I am a travel addict, a passionate amateur photographer, a food and wine lover and an expert at living a chaotic life and shenanigans are just a part of my daily life!
After I graduated from university in Marketing in 2004, I decided to go explore Europe for 3 months before starting my corporate career. Working in a Marketing Firm from 9-5pm, sometimes more, busy lifestyle, always on the go, I am sure you all know how it is. After a vacation in Costa Rica, where I experienced the “Pura Vida” I decided to make a drastic change in my life and moved to a fishermen beach village (Playas del Coco) on the Pacific coast. It was always a dream to live near the beach. Initially, I did not know how long I would be there for, but I ended up staying for over 5 years. In those 5 years I owned my own business, I learned Spanish, traveled all over Latin America and enjoyed the “Pure and simple life” as they call it there.
Last year, I turned 30 and of course I started thinking about my life, my future and what I wanted to do. After putting a lot of thought into this, I understood that the “Pura Vida” was a cool thing, but I did not want the same things I wanted when I was 25. I missed the Fast Life and the city. It was time to think about moving on and closing a chapter in my life the same way I did when I decided to move to paradise. Time to come back home!
I am back to the city, the corporate world, working in what I love, hanging out with my long missed friends and family – basically enjoying life in Montreal again.
This blog is a personal blog about my travels, my experiences and my ramblings. I hope you will enjoy it and please do not be shy to drop me a line.
